These days,it is so glaring that the sins committed by some Christians in and off the house of God cannot be hidden from the eyes of God. While it is Condemnable, it is important that we trace the root of sins committed in the secret(thinking God doesn't know). When Adam and Eve committed sin, they heard the voice of God and they hid themselves among the trees of the garden from God (Gen 3:8). This shows that our founding father and mother thought that the best thing to do was to his their sin from God, believing that God did not see them committing such sins and as such God does not know.
WE SHALL CONSIDER THIS MESSAGE UNDER THREE(3) SUBHEADINGS
(1) THE NAKEDNESS OF ALL SECRET SIN: from 2 king 17:9-18,the children of Israel did all sort of sin secretly, they made and served Idols, they burnt Incense and enchanted the name of Baal but God whom all things are visible was very angry with Israel and as such removed his hand or coverage over Israel. No matter the kind of sin done in the secret or in the absence of rays of light, it is revealed unto God. Job 24:16 says"In the dark they dig through houses which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light". You may have orchestrated plans in the day to commit sin at night in the absence of people around you,believing that no one sees you but God is telling you that he is not far from you. God is ever presence in "All Places" on earth and in Heaven (Jer 23:23-24) and No Iniquity can be hidden from his eyes (Jer 16:17).
Are you the type that commit secret sin recklessly and speak of it because your pastor cannot hurt you nor the police arrest you (Eph 5:12) and took God's silence for Ignorance. Luke 12:2 says "For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed neither hid,that shall not be known". So,God is telling you that his silence cannot be taken as ignorance because at the appointed time,such sin done in the secret has been recorded and will be Judged accordingly.
(2) JUDGEMENT FOR THOSE INVOLVED: There shall be judgment for those who committed secret sin. They shall not be exempted from judgment,having committed that which profitted nothing (Gen 37:26). God said, he will bring every work into judgment,with every secret thing,whether it be good or evil according to Eccl 12:14. So, no matter what you have done in the secret,it must be judged. The Heaven shall reveal your iniquities and the earth with which you were carried away to commit sin in the secret shall rise up against you at the judgment day (Job 20:27). Therefore, Sin committed in the dark,the earth shall vomit it in the last day. Without mentioning the sin you are committing even as you read this message,know ye that the earth shall bear witness of all the sins you committed for Judgment.
(3) WARNING TO TRUE CHRISTIANS: God in his divine wisdom knoweth that there will be wolves among the sheeps. He therefore forewarn his children(True Christians) that there is always a Judea in every twelve disciples of God and that we should be careful as not to be contaminated by the ways of those who commits secret sin in and off the house of God.
Isaiah29:15 says "woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord and their works are in the dark and they say,who seeth us? and who knoweth us?" Therefore, God is telling us that his coverage over those who commits secret sin has being removed and any other covering that they ensue in the house of God is not of him. For they are rebellious children who take to sin continually according to Isaiah30:1 and repented not. So, God is adversely warning us about the dangers of those who commits secret sin and that we should not give chances to the devil to strive (Eph 4:27). For many of them shall come to you and boast of their sins (Eph 5-12), speaketh deceit to lure you in committing secret sin but we should resist them and their advances always and they will Flee from you (James 4:7).
