Walking in the Way

Quoted Verse: But i am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3.

Message:

If you want to be an effective communicator of the Gospel, take a close look at the prophet Jeremiah.
Three factors about his life made him a dynamic spokesman for the Lord.

* First, Jeremiah HEARD THE VOICE OF GOD WITH HIS HEART & SOUL. In Jeremiah 4:19, he says, "Oh, my anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain. Oh, the agony of my heart! My heart pounds within me, i cannot keep silent. For i have heard the sound of the trumpet; i have heard the battle cry. " Brother, sister or minister of the Gospel, when we read the Bible, we need to ask God to speak to our hearts and souls. It is not our ears that need changing, but our hearts.
** The second factor was that Jeremiah WAS AFFECTED BY WHAT HE HEARD. Jeremiah's heart was deeply moved by the Word of God and by the consequences that faced the people of his day. Because he was moved by God's warning of judgement, he spoke with sincerity and conviction. This also caused him to walk with eternity in mind or as a Christian, heaven in mind.

*** The third factor in Jeremiah's effectiveness WAS THE CLARITY & SIMPLICITY OF HIS MESSAGE: " This is what the Lord says, ' Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. " Jeremiah 6:16.

There was nothing complicated or obscure about Jeremiah's message, it was a simple Gospel with clarity.

Brother, sister and man of God, if we will hear God's Word with our hearts and souls, be deeply moved by what He says, and speak a simple message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others, God will use us too. Lives will be changed positively by Christ. Dreams will be built in Christ. You can count on it.

Meditation: When your heart is deeply moved by God's Word, you will be deeply moved about the spiritual state of others.

Prayer: Lord, as i read Your Word, speak to my heart and give me the desire to follow Your will. In Jesus name, Amen.

Remain blessed.
